ITI Assam Admission 2026-27 Reservation and Inclusivity
The Government of Assam ensures equal opportunity for all sectors of society. Specific seat allocations include:
* OBC/MOBC: 27%
* ST (Plains): 10% | ST (Hills): 5% | SC: 7%
* EWS (Economically Weaker Sections): 10%
* PwD (Divyang): 4%
* Empowering Women: 30% of seats are preferentially reserved for women candidates in each ITI!
ITI Assam Admission 2026-27 Selection Process
Admission is strictly based on Merit (marks obtained in your qualifying exam) and the state's reservation policies.
* The Tie-Breaker Rule: If two students have the exact same percentage, the system will look at your Mathematics mark first, followed by your English mark. If a tie still persists, the system uses a randomized automatic allocation.
* Seat Upgradation: Students are allowed one time upgradation up to the 5th e-counselling round if they do not choose to "freeze" their allotted seat during initial admission.
ITI Assam Admission 2026-27 Application Fee
Regular Government Seats (Subsidized Quota)
For standard NCVT or SCVT trades, the government offers heavily subsidized training. The complete fee details payable at the time of admission are:
* Tuition Fee: ₹50 per month (amounts to ₹600 for a 1-year course or ₹1,200 for a 2-year course)
* Caution Money (Refundable): ₹250 *(Returned to you after successfully completing the course)*
* Registration Fee: ₹125
* Medical Examination Fee: ₹25
* Trainees Union Fee:
* For 1-Year Courses: ₹175
* For 2-Year Courses: ₹350
* Hostel Charges (If applicable):
* Hostel Service Charge: ₹50
* Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): ₹250
Total Estimated Admission Cost (Excluding Hostel):
* 1-Year Trade: ₹1,175
* 2-Year Trade: ₹1,950
💥 BPL Bonus: Tuition fees are completely waived off for BPL candidates enrolling in standard NCVT & SCVT trades!
*(Note: If you opt for specialized IMC-run premium courses under public-private management, the course fee is ₹15,000/year for non-engineering and ₹16,500/year for engineering trades).*

Applicants need to visit official https://itiassam.admissions.nic.in/ portal for submission of online application this scheme. One needs to follow below mentioned steps to apply online.
Step 1: Scroll down, go to Important Web Links section.
Step 2: Click on One-Time Registration link .
Step 3: A new webpage will be opened.
Step 4: Enter your details as required in the portal; and register yourself.
Step 5: After registration, Click on Online Application Form and Login.
Step 6: Enter all credentials and upload your documents as required in the portal.
Step 7: Finally click on "Submit" and take print out of your submitted application.
