(NCL) Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. HEMM Operator (Trainee):

   * Qualification: Matriculate/SSC/High School.

   * License: Valid HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicle) / Transport License.

   * Minimum Marks: 55% for UR/EWS, 50% for OBC, and 45% for SC/ST.

 2. Staff Nurse (Trainee):

   * 10+2 plus B.Sc. Nursing or GNM Diploma. Must have valid State Nursing Council registration.

 3. Overseer (Civil):

   * Matriculation plus a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering.

 4. Other Paramedical Posts:

   * Relevant Diplomas in Pharmacy, Pathology, Radiography, etc., with specific registrations where applicable.

(NCL) Recruitment 2026 Salary & Pay Scale

* HEMM Operator (Trainee): Starting at ₹1,502.66 per day (Daily Rated).

 * Staff Nurse/Pharmacist (Grade C): Basic pay of ₹47,330.25 per month.

 * Allowances: Benefits include DA, attendance bonus, special allowance, transport subsidy, and medical facilities as per NCWA-XI rules.

(NCL) Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection will be strictly based on merit. There are no interviews for these positions. The process consists of three main stages:

 Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

 * Mode: Online Exam.

 * Total Marks: 100 Marks.

 * Duration: 90 Minutes.

 * Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

 * Language: Bilingual (Hindi & English).

 * Negative Marking: There is NO negative marking for wrong answers.

 * Syllabus: * Section A: Technical/Position-specific questions (70 marks).

   * Section B: General Intelligence, Mental Ability, Aptitude, etc. (30 marks).

   * *Note: For HEMM Operators, a common paper of 100 marks will be conducted.

Stage 2: Document Scrutiny/Verification

 * Candidates who clear the CBT and meet the minimum qualifying marks will be called for document verification based on their merit rank.

 * You must produce original certificates (Educational, Caste, HMV License, etc.) at this stage.

Stage 3: Medical Examination

 * Finally, provisionally selected candidates must undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the physical standards required by Coal India Limited (CIL) rules.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT

To be considered for the merit list, candidates must score at least:

 * UR / EWS: 50% (50 Marks)

 * SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwBD / ESM: 40% (40 Marks)
