Position-wise Vacancy & Eligibility Criteria
1. Full Time Asstt. Teacher (Political Science)
* No. of Vacancies: 01
* Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Political Science with B.Ed. from a Recognized University and Higher Secondary TET qualified.
* Non-TET Criteria: In case a Higher Secondary TET qualified candidate is not available, candidates with a Master's Degree in Political Science with B.Ed. will be considered.
* Preference: Experience in teaching at UP / HS / HSS level.
2. Full Time Asstt. Teacher (Science)
* No. of Vacancies: 01
* Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree having Royal B.Sc with B.Ed. from a Recognized University and Higher Secondary TET qualified.
* Non-TET Criteria: In case a Higher Secondary TET qualified candidate is not available, candidates with a Master's Degree having Royal B.Sc with B.Ed. will be considered.
* Preference: Experience in teaching at UP / HS / HSS level.
3. Full Time Asstt. Teacher (Mathematics)
* No. of Vacancies: 01
* Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree having Mathematics as a subject in degree level with B.Ed. from a Recognized University and Higher Secondary TET qualified.
* Non-TET Criteria: In case a Higher Secondary TET qualified candidate is not available, candidates with a Master's Degree having Mathematics in degree level with B.Ed. will be considered.
* Preference: Experience in teaching at UP / HS / HSS level.
Important Rules & Conditions
* Reservation: All positions are strictly reserved for Female candidates and Assamese medium candidates only.
* Residential Condition: As KGBVs are residential schools, selected candidates must reside within the school or hostel campus (except during vacations).
* Condition for Non-TET Candidates: If selected, Non-TET candidates must qualify the Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive TET exams.
* Age Limit: Candidates must be below 45 years of age as of 01.01.2026.
