(P&RD) Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection will be based on a Written Examination (OMR-based) and a subsequent Viva-Voce.
* Total Marks: 75 (Written) + 25 (Viva-Voce).
* Exam Pattern: 75 multiple-choice questions (1 mark each).
* Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
* Subject Areas: Domain Knowledge, Computer Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Comprehension, and General Knowledge (with a focus on the History and Culture of Assam and India).
(P&RD) Recruitment 2026 Reservation Details
Reserved for Women (RFW): 30% of posts in each category are reserved for women.
ST (P): 10% reservation for Scheduled Tribes (Plains).
ST (H): 5% reservation for Scheduled Tribes (Hills).
SC: 7% reservation for Scheduled Castes.
PH: 4% reservation for Physically Handicapped candidates (1% each for Blind/Low Vision, Hearing Impaired, Orthopedically, and Autism/Mental Illness).
