Educational Qualification
* Navik (General Duty): Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by COBSE.
* Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by COBSE.
* Hygienist-I: Matriculation (Class 10th) OR ITI OR equivalent from a recognized board.
* Yantrik:
* Class 10th passed + 3 or 4 years Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering approved by AICTE. OR
* Class 10th & 12th passed + 2 or 3 years Diploma in the specified engineering branches.

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The recruitment involves four sequential stages:
1. Stage-I: Computer Based Online Examination (CBE). Objective-type bilingual paper (100 Marks, 1 Hour, No negative marking).
2. Stage-II: Shortlisted candidates undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Assessment & Adaptability Test, Document Verification, and Recruitment Medical Examination.
* PFT Standards (Male): 1.6 Km run in 6 min 30 sec, 20 Squats, 15 Push-ups, 15 Bent Knee Sit-ups.
* PFT Standards (Female): 1.6 Km run in 8 min, 15 Squats, 10 Push-ups, 10 Bent Knee Sit-ups.
3. Stage-III: Identity verification, document scrutiny, and pre-enrolment medicals at INS Chilka.
4. Stage-IV: Verification/authentication of original board certificates and degrees with respective boards/universities.
Note: For Navik (GD) male candidates, recruitment will be conducted zone-wise across 5 zones (North, West, East, South, Central). Candidates from Northeast states (Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, etc.) fall under the East Zone.
