SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Recruitment 2026 Education Qualification

 # Mandatory Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution AND Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF (dated on or before 31.07.2026).

 # Preferred Certifications: CDCS (LIBF), CSDG (LIBF), CTFP (ICC Academy), GTC (ICC Academy), CITF (LIBF), or Certificate in International Trade Finance (IIBF) dated on or before 31.07.2026.

 # Experience Requirements:

   * JMGS-I: Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing and operations in an Officer role in any scheduled commercial bank (preferably maker role).

   * MMGS-II: Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing in an Officer role in any scheduled commercial bank.

Age Limit

Age is calculated as of 31.07.2026:

 * JMGS-I: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years.

 * MMGS-II: Minimum 23 years, Maximum 32 years.

Upper Age Relaxation:

 * OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

 * SC / ST: 5 years

 * PwBD (UR / EWS): 10 years

 * PwBD (OBC): 13 years

 * PwBD (SC / ST): 15 years

SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages:

 1. Shortlisting: Fulfilling minimum criteria does not guarantee an interview. The Bank's committee sets shortlisting parameters to select candidates for the interview round.

 2. Interview: The interview carries 100 marks. Qualifying marks are decided by the Bank, and the final merit list is prepared in descending order based strictly on interview scores.
