Educational Qualification
* Candidates must have passed Class VIII (8th Pass).
* Ineligibility: Candidates who have passed HSSLC (Class 12) or higher qualification are strictly ineligible to apply.

* Maximum Age: 40 years

* Citizenship: Must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
* Employment Exchange: Must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange of Assam with a valid registration number and date.
* Govt. Employees: Must apply through proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer.
* Marital Status: Candidates having a living spouse who has entered into/contracted a marriage with any person shall not be eligible.
* Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a Declaration in Form-"A" under Rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019.
