NFR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Education Qualification
To be considered for the 1-year apprenticeship program, you need to meet the following criteria:
* Academic Qualification:
* For Technical Trades: You must have passed Matriculation/10th class with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
* For Medical Trades (Lab Technician - Pathology/Radiology): You must have passed Matriculation (minimum 50% marks) along with 12th Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
* Technical Qualification: A valid ITI trade certificate in the relevant field approved by NCVT or SCVT.
* Eligible Trades Include: Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Carpenter, Plumber, Turner, Machinist, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Diesel, Painter, Wireman, Lineman, Surveyor, Draughtsman (Civil), COPA, and more.

NFR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process ( No exam )
One of the best parts about this recruitment is that there is no written exam or interview. The selection is purely merit-based:
1. Merit List Calculation: The final merit list will be prepared by taking the simple average of your percentage marks in Matriculation (10th) and your ITI trade marks.
2. Tie-Breaker Rule: If two candidates secure the exact same marks, the older candidate will be ranked higher. If the date of birth is also identical, the candidate who cleared the matriculation exam earlier gets priority.
3. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates (up to 1.5 times the number of slots) will be called for document and medical verification.
