MHRB Assam Recruitment 2026 Education Qualification
Educational Qualification
# For Broad Specialties: A Post Graduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) in the concerned subject from an institute recognized by the National Medical Commission (previously MCI), National Board of Education (NBE), or Dental Council of India.
# For Super Specialties: MD/DNB in General Medicine or MS/DNB in General Surgery for respective super-specialties. Candidates holding DM/M.Ch./DNB in the concerned super specialty subject will be given preference/weightage.
# For basic sciences (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology): A postgraduate qualification of MS (Anatomy)/MD (Biochemistry)/MD (Physiology) or an MSc in the respective medical subject with a PhD in the same specialty, as per NMC guidelines.

Nationality & Registration
* Candidates must be Indian citizens.
* Must possess qualification and registration under the Assam Council of Medical Registration or Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
* Minimum Age: 21 years
* Maximum Age: 45 years
* Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category candidates.
