# Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree (Bachelor's Degree) in any discipline (e.g., BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.E., B.Tech, BBA, BCA, etc.) from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
# Minimum Percentage: There is no minimum percentage required in Graduation. Candidates who passed with any percentage/class are eligible to apply.
# Computer Literacy: Mandatory Candidates must possess a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Operations/Language or must have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School, College, or Institute.
# Local Language Proficiency: Candidates should be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the official language of the State/UT for which they are applying.

A candidate must be either:
1. A Citizen of India, or
2. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
3. A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling, or
4. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

# Phase 1: Online Preliminary Examination (Qualifying Round)
The preliminary exam serves as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main examination. Marks obtained in the Prelims are not added to the final merit list.

* Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

* Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per incorrect attempt.

# Phase 3: Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
* Requirement: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the official local language of the State/UT they applied for.
* Exemption: Candidates who can produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate showing that they studied the official local language as a subject are exempt from taking the test.
* Nature: Qualifying in nature.
# Phase 4: Document Verification & Provisional Allotment
Candidates who successfully clear the Main Examination cut-off and the Language Proficiency Test are called for final Document Verification (DV).
Upon verifying valid age, educational certificates, category credentials, and identity proofs, candidates receive Provisional Allotment in one of the participating Public Sector Banks based on their merit rank and bank preferences submitted during registration.
