SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 Education Qualification 

Educational Qualification (As of August 1, 2026)

 * Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

 * Crucial Date: You must possess the qualifying certificate on or before the cut-off date mentioned in the notification.

Mandatory Skills (Stenography)

While not a "pre-requisite" to fill the form, you must be able to pass the Skill Test to be recruited. The requirements are:

 * For Grade ‘C’: Dictation at 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for 10 minutes.

 * For Grade ‘D’: Dictation at 80 words per minute (w.p.m.) for 10 minutes.

 * The dictation can be taken in either English or Hindi, as opted by the candidate in the application form.
