1. Written Examination

This is the first screening layer. The exam is typically an objective-type (MCQ) test available in both English and Hindi.

 * Total Marks: 100

 * Total Questions: 100

 * Duration: 2 Hours

 * Negative Marking: Typically 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

 * Subjects Covered:

   * General Intelligence & Reasoning: Puzzles, analogies, blood relations, and logical sequences.

   * Numerical Aptitude: Arithmetic, percentages, averages, time and work, and basic algebra.

   * General English: Grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, and comprehension.

   * General Awareness: Current affairs, history, geography, and basic science.

2. Skill / Practical Test

Candidates who clear the written exam are shortlisted for the Skill or Practical test. This stage is qualifying in nature, meaning you must pass it to be considered, but it usually doesn't add to your final merit score.

 * LDC / Hindi Typist: A typing speed test on a computer (35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi).

 * Driver: A practical driving test to assess handling of light and heavy vehicles, along with basic knowledge of motor mechanisms.

 * Cook / Carpenter / Painter: Practical demonstration of trade-specific skills (e.g., cooking a meal, wood-working, or surface preparation).

 * MTS / Mess Staff: These roles may involve basic tasks related to office maintenance or hospitality duties.

3. Document Verification (DV)

Once you pass the practical tests, you will be called for document verification. You must present original copies of:

 * Educational certificates (10th/12th/ITI).

 * Date of Birth proof.

 * Caste/Category certificate (if applicable).

 * Technical qualification certificates (Typing, Driving License, etc.).
