Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
​Compulsory Subjects: Mathematics & Physics.
​Optional Subjects: At least one of Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science.
​Note: Candidates who appeared in the 10+2 board exams in 2025-26 are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the marks criteria at the time of joining.

 Age Limit (Batch-Wise)
​To be eligible, your date of birth must fall within the following ranges:
​Agniveer 01/2027 Batch: 01 Feb 2006 – 31 July 2009
​Agniveer 02/2027 Batch: 01 Sep 2006 – 28 Feb 2010
(Both dates are inclusive).

Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) Recruitment 2026 Selection Process 

The selection happens in three distinct stages:

Stage I: INET (Online Exam)

​Format: 100 Objective questions (1 mark each).
​Sections: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
​Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
​Duration: 60 Minutes.

Stage II: PFT & Written Exam

​Candidates shortlisted from Stage I will undergo a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and a second written exam.
​Male PFT: 1.6 KM run in 6:30 mins, 20 Squats, 15 Push-ups.
​Female PFT: 1.6 KM run in 8:00 mins, 15 Squats, 10 Sit-ups.

Stage III: Medical Examination

​Final medical assessment will be conducted at INS Chilka.

 Applicants need to visit official https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in./ portal for submission of online application this scheme. One needs to follow below mentioned steps to apply online.



Step 1: Scroll down, go to Important Web Links section.

Step 2: Click on One-Time Registration link .

Step 3: A new webpage will be opened.

Step 4: Enter your details as required in the portal; and register yourself.

Step 5: After registration, Click on Online Application Form and Login.
 
Step 6: Enter all credentials and upload your documents as required in the portal.

Step 7: Finally click on "Submit" and take print out of your submitted application.
