Assam Land Records Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

To apply for these vacancies, candidates must meet the following requirements:

 * Educational Qualification: Must have passed HSLC or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

 * Technical Qualification: Must have successfully completed the 6-month Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from the Assam Surveys and Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon.

 * Computer Proficiency: Minimum 30 words per minute typing speed in Assamese or Bengali.

 * Age Limit: * Minimum: 21 years

 * Maximum: 40 years (as of 01.01.2025).

 * Age relaxation applies for reserved categories as per Government rules.

Assam Land Records Recruitment 2026 Selection Process 

The selection will be based on a two-tier process totaling 100 marks:

1. Written Examination (80 Marks)

 * Type: Objective Type (MCQs).

 * Negative Marking: 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.

 * Subject Distribution:

   * Mathematics (Class X Standard): 10 Marks

   * Conventional Survey: 50 Marks

   * Modern Survey: 20 Marks

2. Skill Test (20 Marks)

Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for a Computer Proficiency test involving:

 * Assamese/Bengali Unicode typing.

 * Basic computer operations, data entry, and document formatting.
