    IBPS Specialist Officers Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

    Eligibility Criteria (As of July 1, 2026)
    1. Age Limit
     * Minimum Age: 20 Years
     * Maximum Age: 30 Years
     * *Note: A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive).
    Age Relaxation:
     * SC/ST: 5 years
     * OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
     * PwBD: 10 years
     * Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
    2. Nationality / Citizenship
    A candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling.

    The selection process for IBPS Specialist Officers is a rigid three-tier process consisting of:
     1. Online Preliminary Examination (Qualifying in nature)
     2. Online Main Examination (Professional Knowledge test)
     3. Common Interview (Conducted by the participating banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank)
