Assam Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Pragyan Bharati Free Scooter Scheme 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Academic Percentage: Must have secured 80% or more marks in the Higher Secondary Final Examination 2026 conducted by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB).
2. Gender Eligibility: Applicable for both Girl and Boy students.
3. Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
4. Students Outside Assam: Students pursuing higher studies outside Assam are also eligible, provided they hold a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Assam.
5. Exclusions: Students under the betterment/reappearance category are not eligible.
6. Scheme Restriction: Female beneficiaries receiving the Dr. Bani Kanta Kakati Merit Award (Scooter) will not be eligible for the Nijut Moina Scheme. However, if a girl student opts out of receiving the scooter, she may apply for the Nijut Moina Scheme.
