SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification (As of the Cut-off Date)
* Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree/Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.
2. Age Limit (As of April 1, 2026)
* Minimum Age: 20 Years
* Maximum Age: 28 Years
* *(i.e., Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006, both days inclusive).*
* Age Relaxation: Standard upper age relaxations apply for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Salary & Pay Scale
Selected apprentices will undergo a strict 1-year training program. During this period:
* Apprentices are eligible for a monthly stipend (typically around ₹15,000 per month).
* Note: Apprentices are not entitled to any other allowances or benefits extended to regular employees of the bank. However, completing this apprenticeship gives you an edge and structural familiarity that proves highly beneficial in future regular banking exams.

1. General / Financial Awareness
This section focuses on current events and the Indian financial system.
* Current Affairs: National and International news (last 6 months), Government schemes, summits, and MoUs.
* Banking Awareness: History of banking in India, RBI functions, Monetary Policy, types of accounts, KYC, and digital banking (UPI, NEFT, RTGS).
* Static GK: Important days, books and authors, sports, awards, national parks, and capitals/currencies.
