* Educational Qualification: Minimum VIII (eight) passed.

 * Driving License: Must possess a valid Professional Driving License (LMV).

 * Language Proficiency: Must have knowledge of the Official Language of Assam (Assamese).

 * Employment Exchange: Must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration number for the State of Assam.

 * Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026): * Minimum: 18 years

   * Maximum: 40 years

   * *Age relaxation is applicable as per Government norms for reserved categories.

 Applicants need to visit official https://golaghat.dcourts.gov.in/ portal for submission of online application this scheme. One needs to follow below mentioned steps to apply online.

1. Application Form: Use the Standard Form (as published in Part IX of the Assam Gazette).

 2. Documents Required: Attach self-attested photocopies of:

   * Educational qualification certificates.

   * Age proof (Birth certificate/HSLC Admit Card).

   * Valid Driving License.

   * Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

   * 03 copies of recent passport-size photographs.

 3. Envelope: The name of the post applied for ("Application for the Post of Driver (Contractual)") must be prominently written on the top right-hand corner of the envelope.
