Sainik School Imphal Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. TGT (Maths & Social Science)

 * Essential: Graduation in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the subject.

 * Professional: B.Ed. in relevant subject from a recognized university.

 * Requirement: Must have passed CTET/TET Paper-2 conducted by the appropriate Government.

2. PGT Computer Science

 * Essential: M.Sc (Computer Science/IT) / MCA / M.E. or M.Tech (CS/IT) with at least 50% marks.

 * Alternative: B.Ed Degree (CS/IT) or Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed (CS/IT) with 50% marks.

Age Limit (as on 01 April 2026)

 * TGT: 21 to 35 years.

 * PGT: 21 to 40 years.

 * Note: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and Ex-servicemen as per Central Govt. rules

 * Higher Qualification & Experience: Weightage 5%.

Selection Process: TGT & PGT Recruitment

The selection process for the posts of TGT (Maths, Social Science) and PGT (Computer Science) consists of three primary stages: a Written Test, Class Demonstration, and an Interview.

1. Written Test (50% Weightage)

 * Duration: 1 Hour

 * Total Marks: 100

 * Qualifying Criteria: Candidates must score a minimum of 50% to be eligible for the next stage.
