The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has kicked off 2026 with a major recruitment drive. DSSSB Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria (Post-Wise)

1.Legal Assistant (Post Code 801/26)

* Education: Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University.

* Experience: 1 to 3 years of legal practice or working in a Govt. Legal Dept (varies by department).

* Age: Max 30 years (35 for DTC).

2. Junior Engineer (Civil) (Post Code 803/26) -

* Education: Degree in Civil Engineering OR 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering + 2 years of professional experience.

* Age:18–30 years ( Relaxable up to 32 for some departments).

3. Assistant Section Officer (ASO) (Post Code 804/26) 

* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

* Age: 18–30 years.

4. Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Post Code 802/26)

* Education: Degree in Civil Engineering.

* Age: Up to 30 years.

DSSSB Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The Combined Exam Scheme

DSSSB will follow a Two-Tier Examination system:

* Tier-I (Preliminary): Objective type. Focuses on General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Language (Hindi & English). This is usually qualifying in nature for technical posts.

* Tier-II (Mains): Subject-specific.

* For Legal/JE/AE: Focuses on professional knowledge (Law or Engineering).

* For ASO: Focuses on General Intelligence and a Descriptive English test.

* Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

DSSSB Recruitment 2026 How to Apply 

 Applicants need to visit official dsssb.delhi.gov.in portal for submission of online application this scheme. One needs to follow below mentioned steps to apply online.

Step 1: Scroll down, go to Important Web Links section.

Step 2: Click on One-Time Registration link .

Step 3: A new webpage will be opened.

Step 4: Enter your details as required in the portal; and register yourself.

Step 5: After registration, Click on Online Application Form and Login.
 
Step 6: Enter all credentials and upload your documents as required in the portal.

Step 7: Finally click on "Submit" and take print out of your submitted application.
