Total Vacancy : The total recruitment includes 2,050 regular vacancies and 223 backlog vacancies.

Single Circle Application: A candidate can apply for vacancies in only one Circle. Applying for multiple circles is not permitted.

Posting: Selected candidates will be posted specifically within the Circle they applied for.

Transfer Policy: Candidates are generally not eligible for inter-circle transfers until they are promoted to SMGS-IV grade or complete 12 years of service, whichever is later.

#    Payment Mode: The fee must be deposited with the Bank through Online mode on or                                         before the last date of registration.

#    Non-Refundable: Once paid, the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances nor                                           held in reserve for any other selection process.

#    Registration Completion: Your application process is considered complete only after the                                     fee is successfully deposited.

SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Recruitment 2026 Selection Process :- 

The selection process consists of four distinct phases:

#    Online Examination: Includes an Objective Test (120 marks, 2 hours) and a Descriptive             Test (50 marks, 30 minutes). There is no penalty for wrong answers.

#    Screening: A committee will verify the eligibility and experience of candidates who pass             the online exam.

#    Interview: Worth 50 marks. Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks as decided         by the Bank.

#    Local Language Proficiency Test: Conducted for provisionally selected candidates before joining. This is waived for those who studied the language in 10th or 12th grade.
