Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) has announced a walk-in interview for a Project Technical Support I position. This role is part of a specialized research project titled "Building a surveillance model for detecting zoonotic spill over in increased animal-human interaction setting using a one health approach: A study at selected slaughter houses" within the Department of Microbiology.

Vacancy Details

• Salary: ₹18,000 + 20% HRA = ₹21,600 per month

• Nature of Job: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years (Age relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. of Assam guidelines)

Eligibility Criteria

Category	Requirements
Essential Qualification	10th pass and Diploma in MLT/DMLT plus two years of required experience in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Desirable Qualification	MLT/DMLT with two years of laboratory experience and computer knowledge.

Interview Schedule & Venue

This selection process is based on a Walk-In-Interview. No prior application via post or email is mentioned, but you must bring your documents directly to the venue.

Important Instructions for Candidates

2. NOC: If you are currently working on another project or in another organization, you must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current employer.

3. Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

4. Travel: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
